Doctors removed 202 teeth from a 7-year-old girl in India during a two hour procedure according the News.com.au.

The girl was brought to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi by her mother, a businesswoman who lives in India's Gurgaon sector, after she mentioned that she felt swelling in her mouth.


X-rays showed that the girl had compound odontoma - a tumor where mouth tissue form abnormally.

"It was shocking to see such complex situation in the minor's mouth," said Dr Ajoy Roychoudhary.

Most of those "teeth" look more like random deposits of calcium from the abnormal growth she experienced.

Also, I would like to think that the swelling would have been noticed and dealt with a little sooner in our country.
