No police chase thread?

I literally watched this for an hour streaming at work today. Ft. Worth police could have stopped it very early on, but let this clown go on.

I'll never forget driving to the airport with a low speed police chase next to me in LA.

It was boring and they easily could have ended it early on I30, but they decided to prolong it. Then he sped off of the highway and into Arlington and put a lot more people in danger. Looks like he went near Lincoln Square area and into some nicer neighborhoods.

So why was the other side of the highway slow was everyone stopping to wave to him or something?

I noticed one cop beating the suspect in the head with the butt of his rifle, until another cop pulled the cop off the suspect

If he woulda turned right instead of left onto Lamar from Collins, we were all planning on running outside to cheer him on and wave to the chopper above.
He was fairly close to the office, but missed us by 1/2 mile or so.
