Beavers Bend Evacuation

Was camping at Beavers Bend park this weekend and last night about 8 pm the rangers told us that we had 2 hours to evacuate. They were real iffy on the road conditions on the way home (Quinlan). Although we really did not run into any problems. there would have been if we had to leave this morning, that place and surrounding roadways flooded bad.

Broken Bow lake is close to being full. I'm sure they've cranked the flood gates open there as well.

I live off 36 in Quinlan, the road had been flooding everyday.

I am in Greenville and am now the proud owner of a pond, in town.....

I dug drainage "ditches" in three spots under my fence. It looked like someone was spraying water out of them with a firehose onto FM 1570 earlier right after the storm blew through.
