My okra went crazy last summer, I got so tired of eating it that I didn't even plant it this year.

Blasphemy! I'm considering planting another half dozen. Can't have too much okra!

I was late planting it all, but REALLY late with the green beans. I'm starting to think those things aren't going to sprout.

Ha! I can't even tell you how many different recipes we did, variations of fried, baked, pickled. It is great, but I switched it up this year, bell peppers/tomatoes/jalapeños/cauliflower. It's just a small garden, we haven't planted the big plot for a few years now.

Meh. It gives me something to do, and there is something very rewarding about growing your own food. It is comforting knowing what chemicals weren't used on the plants, and they have so much more flavor fresh out of the garden than What you'll find at typical stores.

I've got better boy, Roma, and super great tomato varieties. Poblano, California red bell, jalapeño, anaheim, pepperoncini, and Serrano peppers. I planted a shit ton of blue lake green beans, and a half dozen okra plants. I've got room to grow more, but this bed really doesn't have room for squash and zucchini. Whatever else I plant needs to be a smallish footprint. This bed is only 8'x12'.

My septic's are running slow and my yard looked like a swamp, even though it has a nice slope and grade over most of it. Pool is doing fine it just looks like a oasis and my pond is at above max level. I got out there today and realized with my new landscaping and some things done in the past it was causing issues. So I cleared out all that crap and took my hoe out there and channeled out to the back of my acre. I had clogs and blockages everywhere. Should be good now. No need to go to the gym now!
