I'm Jealous of those that have had the opportunity to live in such diverse areas even if you didn't like it.

Lived most of my life in Texas. Spent two yrs in LA, one in NJ, 4 months in KY, visited most of the states and a handful of countries.

All the people saying they have lived in other countries, who wasn't living there cause of the military or work? If so what made you pick the country you were living in and what made you leave?

Born and raised in Northern California then moved here almost 4-1/2 years ago. I can't imagine living anywhere else.

Lived in Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Louisiana and a long stretch in Afghanistan where I was based out of 4 different bases throughout 7 years and worked on 37 different bases all over the Eastern and North Eastern region of Afg and a short stretch in Iraq.

Went to an extended Marine boot camp in California and schooled in Maryland so I guess you can say I lived there too.

Countries I have visited, east and west Mexico (Cozumel, PV, Cabo, Riviera Maya, Cancuun), Honduras, Belize, Caymans, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Canada (Niagara Falls), Spain (Barcelona, Valencia, Rota, Canary Islands, Palma), Italy (Rome, Naples), Congo, Zaire, Sierra Leone, Guinea, France, Dubai.

I think that is all.

Korea was with the military. Mexico was as a civilian. My ex was from there so we moved down there after I got out of the army. Cost of living was super cheap and I was 22 with a wife and a kid. I was going through the border patrol hiring process and that ended up falling out due to my color vision. We ended up moving to CA a while after that, for better job opportunities.
