They already said that it will peak more interest than sale numbers. I'm guessing it'll be around 60k.

Funny. They intentionally make a car they can't sell, and wonder why the government had to bail them out. Good to see our tax dollars were well used.

The 2011 Camaro SS, powered by a non-supercharged 6.2-liter V8, gets an estimated 24 miles per gallon on the highway and 16 in the city.
And the mustang gets 29/22 ish...

          Chevy sucks.
The 624 package voids the factory warranty, but is still 50 state emissions legal!!! The 525 kit gives you a 12 month, 12k warranty and is emissions legal also!! Neither package should affect mileage by much if it is driven correctly.. Fucking incredible what these new cars are capable of!!!

same argument the gm fans used against the cobra when it got the sc. Then what happened in the next couple of years Ford put on better pullies.

GM is always finessing the amount of hp they can cox out of the engine so expect a HP bump from a pully for the next model year (or the one after)

Dealers will probably tack on a market adjustment premium of $10k+ if they can get one. If they only sell a hand full they'll get whatever price they ask. Make it as exclusive as the trak-pack Challenger or CJ Mustangs but sell them to anyone with a big enough check book.

Yeah, I know about the market adjustment thing like with dealers asking $100K+ when the GT500KR came out. I think one sold at five star for around $112K. Fucking ridiculous.

I'll stick with the base models and kick everybody's ass.

On a serious note, glad it stirs up the hot rod world.

Go look at the prices for that junk now.

I can't blame the dealers when there are idiots out there who will pay it. If you act like one of the sheep, you will get sheared eventually.

They'll sell it, at first anyway. Idiots will be lined up to take on a 2.9% note for 7 years to afford that car. Remember the dipshits who paid $60-70k for a GT500? Those people are still around. Some of them have those cars for sale on ebay, I just laugh at the reserve prices they think they are going to meet.

I am too, fuck it, I'll do it if it is 12%, what can I get with a 400 credit score? Maybe I will just buy it using a credit card or a payday loan.

You could always take a 2nd mortgage on your house.

That's the best option yet, get bonus miles on top of it! Maybe we can get a deal on 2 if we go in at the same time.
