Anyone have any recommendations? I've used a Coleman road trip with no real complaints but I'm curious if anyone has had better luck or more experience with others

This grill...
Also, get a good 12-14" iron skillet.
After years of camping and cooking in a lot of different ways, this setup is what I prefer. I make every meal with those, except homemade chili. I'll make that in a big pot.

If you can't have a fire most places you camp, the Coleman Roadmaster is the best choice IMO.

I've got one of these and it is pretty heavy duty for a portable grill and works good.
If you've got the room to take it a plow disc cooker is badass for camping.
DISCADA plow disk cookers handcrafted in New Mexico by Southwest Disk, the heart of the Southwest, for your ultimate plow disc cooking and grilling experience.

COleman Roadtrip LXE?? I like that you can put griddle plates on, stove grate, or grill plates, and easy to clean grease trap...I have been thinking about it for a while.
Uses the small propane bottles too!
