Anyone have any recommendations? I've used a Coleman road trip with no real complaints but I'm curious if anyone has had better luck or more experience with others

I use a coleman dual fuel powerhouse stove with no complaints. I've always the camp fuel and never gas though

        This grill...

Also, get a good 12-14" iron skillet.

After years of camping and cooking in a lot of different ways, this setup is what I prefer. I make every meal with those, except homemade chili. I'll make that in a big pot.

A couple of the places we plan to camp don't allow fires, and with a toddler running around I don't think it's the best solution for me.

Dang, that sucks. I can't imagine camping without a fire.

If you can't have a fire most places you camp, the Coleman Roadmaster is the best choice IMO.

I've got one of these and it is pretty heavy duty for a portable grill and works good.

If you've got the room to take it a plow disc cooker is badass for camping.

I use a version of this on my boat that has telescoping legs...

They are all fine if you can't have a fire.

I have a grill2go, has cold/warm storage bags underneath and uses 2lb propane bottles (we can cook 3 meals a day for a weekend on less than 2 bottles). I probably wouldn't have paid retail for it, but my mom won it in some contest and just had it drop shipped to me.

COleman Roadtrip LXE?? I like that you can put griddle plates on, stove grate, or grill plates, and easy to clean grease trap...I have been thinking about it for a while.

Uses the small propane bottles too!

I have. I had no issues, used it several times. Not as controllable as a full size but at the price point you can't expect it. I haven't used any of the other accessories though. That's the one I've been leaning toward so far though. I like that it comes with a stand and to small flat surfaces. You can also get a hose to use a larger bottle of propane(what I would do)

These will be perfect for all the Mongolian BBQ and Fajitas that I cook.
Ordered a pre-seasoned 24" disk and adjustable burner from them.
                            Thanks!

Was looking at a mini Big Green Egg for camping and ended up with a WeberQ 2200.
                              Thing is excellent!
