I did get the go kart feel from it when I drove his. Not sure if that's good, bad, or ugly. It was also quite road noisy.

    • I'm sure more than a few of you have, but I've driven a c4 vette, and in no world would fighter jet ever come into the vernacular that describes that car.

      • Maybe i just have a better imagination than yall. It feels fast and nimble because of the air leaks, road noise, and how low it is to the ground. Everything wraps around you and makes you feel connected to the car and the road.

Overall performance was fine for the year, but nothing special by today's standards.

          This.

While I have driven cars that I would describe as being similar to a go-cart, I would reserve "fighter jet" for very few vehicles I have had the chance to wheel.

Now bikes on the other hand are a different story.

By those standards my Festiva is a fighter jet as well.

More than just that, the overall shape of the car, the wrap around gauges, the seats and seating position. I've owned just about every sports car from the 90's and 2000's and the C4 is the only one that I would describe that way.

              • I would talk up a C4 too, if I was about to sell one.

Nah, I let my cars sell themselves, it's one of the reasons why I have so many recommendations and repeat customers, despite having a small car lot.

I can pull up old posts on the corvette forums when I first got the car and I described it the same way.

Although not a baller, I have been fortunate enough to drive some pretty badass cars (worked at at custom shop for a few years). Among those cars was a Gallardo, a 575 Maranello, and a 700hp '55 Bel Air. None of which I would describe as a jet fighter.

                      • Maybe if you're flying a jet fighter on a 1980's video game lol. Now the huge door lip and the seats sitting on the floor does give it a little bit of a cockpit feel, but that's about it.

                        • I imagine if someone was big and fat enough, sitting in one of those would feel tight like a cockpit.

So we shouldn't let convicted child molesters be high school cheerleading coaches while we're at it?

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.
