I really would love to have a C6, but now with a kid and probably more kids in the near future I probably wont get a fun car for 10+ years.

Just go for it man. We've got 2 kids and my girl is the one who is so adamant that I get one.
She has an suv, so we're covered as far as space is concerned.

We'll see. I also didn't mention the fact that if I had one I would only be able to drive it about 4-5 months a year given the heavy snow we get here, and road salt.

Y'all just gotta keep shopping around. I gave 9500 for my 2001 corvette with 139k miles last August. Had to go to Oklahoma City to buy it though. Car is super nice with no issues. All stock though.

I was looking for a few weeks, seems prices have gone back up because the c7 is a complete over priced pile of shit. I almost gave up when a friend found me my 09 coupe... very very happy with it, likely keep it for at least 5 more like 10 years.

Utterly embarrassed a 2015 gt last night, good times.

After my C6 Z06 left me stranded four times, I will never own another one of those fucking cars again.

                  Just blame it on Glock.

I've always loved the look of the C4. I'd wear the jacket just because.

This man speaks the truth. The fastest vette of all time is spectacularly slower than the fastest factory mustang.

I'm not a vette hater, but the later model ones that I've ridden in were... well I'd describe the interiors as junk. My boss has a 2008 z06 with less than 40k on the odometer. Car looks new inside and out. Well, except for the parts of the interior that are failing/have failed. The glove box door is bowing out in a crescent shape (not horrific but noticeable) and the doors and door panels just feel cheap. I certainly wasn't impressed, I damn sure would expect more for the kind of money they want for those things. A lot more.

And it gets worse the further you go back in year models.

Maybe on a drag strip... But not in road racing.

My C5 Z feels like it was assembled at LittleTikes, but it's the fastest car for the money that I have bought.
Cheap C6 popped up a couple years ago for some reason, but now everyone is wanting $20k+ for any LS3 model

If you want a nice FRC I know where one is for $8900
