I sound really old saying this, but I want a fun cruiser. I want something that me and the lady can take and cruise and enjoy. I can always toss on a turbo with a few supporting mods a little later which I will probably do.

So I went to look at/buy a 05 orange one with a targa top 3 weeks ago and I told a mid 20 year old co worker about it and he said "isn't that what the old men in Florida drive" talk about fucking that purchase up.

I was looking at the Z06 due to the bigger motor, but the lack of a targa roof and stiffer suspension has me thinking a newer LS3 for the same money would be a better option. I'll likely never take it to a track, so why would I want to beat my kidneys needlesly?

Toss HCI on the LS3 and you're running with the Z HP wise, add a blower to that and I'll be a happy camper. All CARB legal of course.

Yep. That's pretty much my thought process. For the price difference, I can toss on a few goodies over the next couple of months be and plenty fast enough to enjoy.

Yet another guy that's out of his freaking mind. 99 mag red, 209K miles, needs the fucking dash pulled to change the blend door actuator, RKE doesn't work, window barely works, oil pressure gauge doesn't work. 12 grand.... I've seen z06's and FRC's with 50-100K less miles going for that price or cheaper.

Again, I can understand holding out for top dollar, but it's never going to happen for 5 figures or more.
