The problem the repair guy explained to me was this...When he's got an issue with a Samsung, he doesn't have any tech support he can call and parts are a booger to get. He said for my issue, the first echelon response according to his computer was to replace the main board. $350 parts. Then that might no fix it. He was honest and said, it wasn't worth ending uo spending upwards of $500 to fix it.
On the other hand, he said if he has an issue on the American brands, he can call a tech line and get lots of assistance and parts are easy.
He made no money telling me to go buy a new one..
That said, the wife picked out a Whirlpool that has a Harmon Kardon stereo with blue tooth .. WTF is this world coming to ? $2400 at Lowes, delivered and installed.
So, If anyone wants a FREE Samsung and wants to eff with it, I'll have the deliver boys leave it in the garage and you come get it.
