What are some things that would help this car looks wise?

The side profile to me is very bland. Ive thought about adding rocker stripes, but am wanting to see if there are other good ideas out there.

Serious answer. Don't waste any money on that car. Leave it alone, drive it, enjoy it as it is and save for a better starting point to play with.

Neons underneath and a couple of extra sets of fog lights. Maybe a leather bra. I'm not sure if they make chrome door handles for that car, but those really improve the looks a lot. Gives it a classier feel. Someone earlier mentioned the chrome strip around the door edge, but personally, I think that looks tacky. Just do the handles and maybe the gas cap. Sweet car, though!

Already way ahead of you there. But you are right, thats just a daily driver. It does need something though.

Planning on getting back into a GT in the next couple of years, and still looking for a decent `69/`70 Mach 1 to restore.

I`m old school, so I`m not going to be doing neons on anything. Just my thing, but to each their own. Just as you are pointing out in your chrome ideas that this car lacks some visual breaks due to the darker color.

I know it's not going to improve the looks, but have you thought about putting Glass Packs on it? Those things sound awesome. Plus, if you do those and an air filter delete, you'll probably be able to hang with the GTs, depending on your driving skills.

That kind of runs into the issue T-Bird was talking about. It`s a daily driver, and to sink that kind of money into is really a waste and better served towards the `16/`17 GT Fund I have got going.

The 3.7 Cyclone can be modified to outrun the stock.... Emphasis on the word "stock" 5.0 Coyote. Again, as T-bird was talking about - that 3.5-5K worth of engine mods required would better be served paying for that extra 5-7K the GT costs over the V6 at time of purchase. For track/racing purposes, the GT is a better platform to begin with.

The skills I`ve got, but I`ve also enjoyed having extremely cheap car insurance since I stopped attending all those curbside pow-wows with the boys in blue.
