    Walmart suddenly closes 5 stores

    Closed for at least 6 months and they claim plumbing issues in all stores.

    Suspicion continues to grow in the aftermath of a sudden move by Walmart this week to lay off 2,200 workers and close five stores over supposed plumbing issues.

    Sounds like a way to justify their existence to the towns where they exist. Maybe there was some union grumbling and they figured "we'll show them."

                      My thinking on this is that a new deficiency was found on one site by an audit and several others reported having that same deficiency.

                      When I took up doing inspections for a property management group, I was noting things that previous inspectors failed to notice. Many sites had that same issues, also never noted.
