I will be the first to say comcast customer service is the worse maybe in the world....the rate cut they offered me though with no contract, for now it makes economical sense to stay. I just called twice threatened to drop them both times bill went from 195 to 116$

No doubt the discount will eventually disappear, but right now the 50 meg plan is delivering speeds just under 100 meg. I bought my own modem and router so there's no monthly add-on charges for those.

I cut the cord a few months back. Now its just netflix I guess. Charter for internet. Its nice saving $120+ per month on something that I barely used. The price just doesn't reflect the value. Even with all channels enabled... I'd still get maybe $10 worth of usage out of it every month. Did that for a couple months just to see if I'd like it. Of course that's like $260 per month.WH

I turned in my cable boxes Saturday. I'm using the PS Vue service right now on 2 Roku boxes, my PS3 and Chromecast. The only channel I've noticed I don't have is Esquire but Charter killed it already anyway. Their DVR function blows away Charter and their on demand stuff is way easier to find and use and it seems like there is more content.
