Disclaimer: I haven't gone through a football season without it yet. We shall see.
Everybody that uses Sling, go to their Facebook page and post for them to get Redzone Channel this year. The more requests they get, the better shot we have of getting it.
But really, unles you have DirecTv with the Sunday Ticket, you can get the same games except second half of season Thursday games, which usually suck anyway.

OTA, Netflix, Prime, Sling and Roku/Apple TV. There are tons of things to watch free, or limited commercials.

HULU Plus didn't seem worth the $ too me, especially since they have commercials.

The Man Channel is cool... Download that app on Roku or a Smart TV

The only thing I do not like about Sling is the audio, they have 2 channel broadcasts on live shit. Not sure about HBO however. AMC's The Walking Dead is meant for 5.1 surround sound!

Still can't believe how great the local channels are uncompressed!

On the OTA channels, are you guys using bunny ears or are you using a digital antennae you can mount on the wall? Like those black RCA boxes.

Netflix Hulu and prime here. Football and street outlaws are about the only tv I really watched so I don't miss it. Yet at least

I went and got a digital antenna from Walmart. I have a massive one in my attic though, so I plan to drop a couple coax lines eventually from it

I think someone of you folks are confusing Sling TV with the Sling box.

                    Charter 30MB + Amazon Prime + Roku 3 + antenna

The "off" broadcast channels are great. I find myself watching more on 5-2, 13-2, and 27-2 than anything else. Amazon Prime has basically everything I'd ever want to see. The Roku box streams all kinds of crazy little free or dirt cheap channels full of good content. As for sports, I guess I'll just watch whatever gets broadcast for free.

Best thing I ever did. I watch less TV now, sure - but isn't that a good thing?

Now that is just hippie logic. Get that out of here.

Nate, do like I did to see if you will like it.

Get an OTA antenna and hok it up to 1 TV. Watch it for a week, and do not watch cable. I did that with the wife to see if she'd hate it or not. She was OK with cutting DirecTv, no regrets!

I couldn't do it. I can't keep up with all the random shit that was everywhere and what shit I could only watch on what. The less annoying aspect of the whole deal is worth the money spent. Maybe after the introductory thing wears out and I get a little more tech savvy.

i think the thing I would miss the most is the Stars games. Unlike baseball they are pretty difficult to follow on the radio. I am seriously considering this. It seems like a bit of a start up cost, but the monthly is 1/4 of what I'm paying now. Any pros/cons vs having FireTV and the Fire Stick?
