Does anyone own one? I have been thinking about trading my civic in.

If you have one or have driven one, how was it equipped? I am looking at a SE with 1.5L ecoboost. I am interested in real world fuel mileage. That is the #1 factor in my decision.

My #1 issue with my car, when thinking long term, the seats SUCK! I spend a large portion of my day in the car, and the drive home is almost painful.

Unfortunately those are out of my price range. I landed on the fusion because of the current incentives. Puts a decently equipped car where I need to be price wise, or close to it.
I have a few friends that are driving them, they both love the creatute comfort. One has a 1.5L ecoboost and the other, a 2.0L ecoboost. The 2.0L apparently doesn't get stellar fuel mileage, however, my friend with the 1.5L is quite pleases

if you're going to buy one, get the 2.0l, or you'll fall asleep driving it.

Can't be worse than my civic, or the 4 cyl s10 I had before that! Not looking fir a performance car, definitely don't want a slug though. MPG's on the 2.0L from what I have read are much worse than the 1.5. I drive 100-150 miles a day, so that is a big factor

Get 28mpg in our 2.0 Ecoboost Fusion.
K&N w/ tune and you get 18-22% more power and better gas mileage.

If you like the Honda other than the seats, then just get new seats. Seems a lot cheaper than trading in the car... Keep the factory ones and put them back in when you want to sell it or trade it in.

My mom bought the small eb fusion last year, I drove it and thought it had to be a bigger engine than the small one, but I was wrong. Granted, it was just a couple laps around the block and not at highway speeds.

The dash has an MPG function, and it's separated buy blocks of minutes, on her way to my house she was getting upper 30's, and my driving was lower 20's. She hasnt had any complaints, though this is a hell of a lot nicer/better car than the 08 altima she had before, so I dont expect her to really have much to complain about.

We are leasing a '14, and I have to say it is a decent car, for what it's priced at. I think it's the 1.5 EB also. Decent MPG, enough pep to not complain if I have to drive it, but it's no Mustang. For what it is designed for, it's good. Economical daily driver. The seats have to be properly adjusted, or they can be uncomfortable, but after a few adjustments, it no longer seems bad. Felt like it had lumbar support pushed all the way out, when it did not. Reclined it a little more and it's fine now.

Lyn loves it, so I'm good with that!

I don't know if rzrbk still has his 2014 fusion. If so you should look into that. He had it priced nicely at 12.9k w 28k mi.

Couldn't the paperwork my cu needed, but I'm sure it's good to go now if it isn't gone already.

Edit: it's off the classifieds now so I think it's gone.

That may be an option. My only issue is dropping the $$$ on new seats and not being able to do a long term test!

Thanks for the input. Talked to a friend last night that has a 1.5 EB and loves it. What kind of fuel mileage are you guys seeing? Driving habits?

I'm not looking for a performance sedan, nor am I expecting anything like the G35 my fiance had. Looking for comfort and decent fuel mileage.

Crap, sorry, forgot the real world MPG. She averages mostly city, some highway driving and it is showing 28-30 on the gauge most of the time. Driving to Winstar I wanna say it gets 34'ish or so, but she does tend to kick the turbo in a few times to pass people going too slow.

It is the SE, no Nav or backup sensors, but decent radio at least.

Thanks. Not too far off of what I get in my civic. Best I have averaged was 36 mpg on a tank. That was all highway from Greenville to denison. I am curious about the turbo point. I cruise 80-85on the interstate which is about half of my daily commute.
I am still on the fence about trading. My local dealer just got exactly what I am looking for. Magnetic, black interior, SE, with the 1.5EB.
