That place must be an ancient Indian burial ground. Rip.

Or perhaps the construction company is concerned solely with profit, and not concerned with safety.

They are a pretty new company, but the two guys that own it have a ton of experience. Yes, GC's are generally concerned with profits, but I have been on a few of their jobsites and I did not get that impression.

the first one sounded like a freak accident. This one sounds like paying an inexperienced low wage person to help get a truck unloaded and he put himself in a compromising situation.

I'm guessing they are in panic mode trying to get back on schedule and somebody cut too many corners

The person killed was run over by his own father.
Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

Being in the building trades I really hate hearing that... The first guy was a single father to 3 little girls. R.i.p.

I used to work for/with these guys when they were running/workin at another company. Safety was the number one priority on any of thier jobsites. Every employee of the company had OSHA 30hr training.

I could only imagine that this mindset carried over with them.

Both sound like freak accidents that coincidentally happened too close to one another.

Don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure they require all of their subcontractor's employees that will be on site to have that same OSHA training as well.

OSHA 30 is pretty much standard now
