The dumbass fuel cell sizing rule is keeping my cash in my pocket... Funny how Lemons broke out with ATL for the cheapest prices on fuel cells, up to 24 gallons, you will find anywhere! SLAP!!!

I hope Chump changes that rule so we can run the Two in my backyard at TWS. They really fucked up by writing a 43 page rulebook for racing $500 cars. D-U-M-B!!!!

Ya'll have fun and be safe!

Why don't you just run the stock tank? I like both series, but Lemons kind of left a sour taste, no pun intended, the last race we did. We pop the hood in tech to display our basically stock n/a 2.3L motor and one kid was all over it saying how it was a cheater motor and, "wicked fast". I had to laugh at first and then they were seriously talking about BS laps.... Meanwhile the Integra and SHO cars are flying through the tech shed making a legit 2x's the HP. Really? It's all good though. I enjoy both series and the folks they bring out, but Lemons just makes me nervous. It's like going to Mexico and having to deal with the Federales.

JW, that judge wont be back, from what Im told.

Matt, you guys remember the ZX2 that had the wheels sticking out and flipped at Houston last year? The guy running tech for CHUMP was one of them. I dont have much faith in all their rules...

I wouldnt mind doing a race at TMS though...

We paid less for the car than what most junkyards want for a used tank and pump assembly that is likely to fail too... Reason we did the cell in the first place....to the 2010 rules for both series. We didn't spend over $1600 for a proper cell to then be told by Chump to install a $279 JAZ brand aluminum tank with no bladder or safety foam that would puncture with a rock, let alone an impact.

We too are disappointed about the Lemons Bullshit...but we just happen to be one of those guys that are getting through tech unscathed...so I can't complain too much. Maybe they just love the blue testicle cars!

I wrote the guys at Chump asking why it's a big deal because they would grandfather a neon with a 22 gallon cell had I run last year, but won't this year. FuKing DUMB. So they take out strategy with max driver stints, 5 minute fuel stops, fuel tank size...yadda yadda yada....which leaves building the fastest cheater car possible. Wrong.

I like what the Chump guys WERE doing last year....they shouldn't have broke was wasn't broken!

If you can swing it, you need to do the 18 hour run at TWS down here in college station. The 2.9 mile road course at night is a hoot. blows the TMS roval away in comparison. Just bring good headlights...it gets dark as shit between T6 and T7 after sundown!!!

Word on the street is Lemons won't be doing the same track configuration at TMS in December as Chump Car did last summer. I can't imagine them cramming all of the cars they bring into that shit infield section, but who knows. Count me out if that's the case. TWS and Hallett are both a go for our team at this point though. I've heard nothing but great things from everyone about both of those tracks.

what you have to do is blow up your motor in spectacular fashion at MSR-H on the track causing you to be towed in. Do motor swap until 4a.m. Then at the next race blow the diff pin through the transmission in 4 different places causing you to do a tranny swap on the wonderful soft ground at Bella Rose. Then at MSR-H again blow out your clutch springs leaving you only able to turn on the car in ONE gear for the weekend (rev limiter hates you!) Then at Eagle's Canyon bend a shift fork in the tranny causing you again to only have one gear.

when you are on your 3rd motor and 4th transmission they usually feel a little compassion. Just make sure you blow your stuff up right in front of the judges!!

I maintain 3 race cars now...no time for blowing shit up!

Sorry to hear about your luck but my old team has been experiencing some of those same problems with the Schwing Corolla.... That's racing in lemons!

Saw the Schwing car up on jacks early on this weekend. Wanted to see it out on three wheels on turn one.

Old cars with old parts. Only takes one little issue to ruin a top 10 finish with the competition.
