Then call chase and have them move over as much of the limit as you need from the Freedom card.

Back when I applied for the Slaye card, I was granted an $8000 limit and I needed to balance transfer $10k. I called Chase to have them reconsider the limit and was denied citing that I had met their maximum exposure. When I hung up the phone, I applied for the Freedom card and was approved $32k. I then called back and had them move $22k of the $32k limit to the Slate card. Hope this helps
Chase has me at the highest availability out of all the cards I have

definitely start playing the transfer game to get introductory rates!

pay that shit down. get out from under debt like that! I don't like carrying anything over a couple percent interest, and not for very much money. maybe $10-20k here or there just to help the credit rating

I have a Cap One card similar to that and they would not lower the rate. So when we moved our banking over to Cap One, I applied for one of their bitchin Venture cards and got the 15.9% rate with 0% for the first year. The rewards are pretty decent too

Good lord that rate is insane. I have a credit card through my credit union and the rate is 7%.
