      Thanks. The truck is spotless except the drivers seat. One of the cleanest I have found for its age. I will post pics after I pick it up Friday. Went into 4hi and 4low with no issues.

                        Peronally for that kind of coin, look for a VHO or SS. The 6.0 is 10x better and fuel economy is about the same, even a 06-07 vmax

                          Must be why they bumped the 4.8 to around 300hp in 07.

                              That is the next generation... 07 was first year. So I wonder if that is the first year they did his that. Does not appear to be an 04 option.

                              Not interested in the HD 1500 from 04 with the 6.0. Likely couldn't find one with the history, miles, crew, 4x4, and condition for 12.5. I could flip this truck for a couple $k in a week if I wanted up here.

                              I am not sure how it could be 10x more reliable as they are great platforms already. And I don't have redneck interest of making a 4x4 truck fast.

                                That generation 6.0 is also pretty well known to have oil consumption problems. I believe they revised the valve cover, then the PCV and finally just wrote a TSB saying it's normal.

                                It didn't really hurt anything but most people don't like adding 2-3 quarts of oil between changes.
