Even with that low of miles, I can't see spending almost $12k for an 06. Then again, I haven't priced them at all.
Thanks. Full size suv prices are crazy...most are going for 14k with a lot more miles.

I may have to consider 2wd but that will suck on steep boat ramp

    Forgot all about them, thanks

I'd stick with the Tahoe since a resell might be in your future. I'd definitely do an 07+ and something like an LTZ to have better options when you go to list it. The good thing about them is that not too many people shy away from their high mileage. Compared to the rest of what you're looking at, maintenance will be cheaper.

We have a 08 Armada and only issue we had was the A/C condenser fan went out.

We had one... I forget the year but we got rid of it. The main electrical control box went out which was common. Wasnt horribly expensive to fix it ($500ish). Then the blend door or one of the other a/c doors broke. Again, very common. You have to remove the entire dash to fix it. $1500...no thanks, we traded it.

Fiance got 10-11mpg driving 100% city

                4x4?

I will come to get it if the deal is right... no problem going out of state to pick on one up. PM me details

Expeditions seem to be the only ones consistently in my price range w/ the miles I am not scared of. However if they have the same problems as the f150 5.4's then I will probably stay away... stupid 3v 5.4

They're great trucks, have had a few in the family. No complaints other than they're gas thirsty.

Is there any difference between the 5.3 in the 2007 up and prior models? I know the body style changed in GM during 07 but not sure about engine changes.

Not sure, but mine goes from an 8 cylinder to a four cylinder if it's cruising and not under a load. I think they are the same tranny, but some upgrades. The interior is tons better. I love mine, but we are going to sell it since my wife says it's too big for her. She didn't realize it until she put it to daily use.

I wish she was cool with its size. It's the perfect vehicle for the family, IMO.

text me some pictures and a price. Wife needs something bigger. Ill trade you a lightly used but heavily abused highlander and a handful of fiddle faddle.

Well depends on price... seems like some guys are asking the moon for them. I have less of a problem knowing the person took care of it.
