What's interesting is the hellcat is driving down the price point on a lot of these cars. You would figure the 75k Zo6 would do that, but it took the hellcat to change minds i guess...

It's a big fat bitch of a car. All the testers say it's sloppy to drive. However, it makes 707 horsepower. We have THE BEST horsepower war ever. In 30 years they'll write about the late 2000s through 2016ish.

I like it a lot. I think it's the best looking Saleen since the SN95. I like the fact that this Saleen unlike past models doesn't take the design too far away from the original car. The past Saleens I feel changed the whole dynamic of the look. This just adds an edge to it.

            Oh for sure.

707HP for under 55 grand? We really are in the golden age of horsepower.

All the little botique shops making hot camaros, mustangs, and especially challengers and chargers got a rude wakeup call now that Crysler is selling the Hellcat. You look at the old Saleen S281E that was something crazy like 80 grand for like 550 HP, and the manufacturers just flat out shame the botiques now, all with a factory warranty.

The hellcats price point is also why i am pretty sure the GT350 price will undercut it, leaving the GT350R at the 65-70k price point like the Z28.

Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

If the dealer tried to do a "market-based adjustment" i would laugh, tell them to go fuck themselves, and try the next dealer.

Just like i did to the idiots at Bankston Ford in Fort Worth when they had a 2007 Shelby GT500 in 2008 that they "turned down an offer of 20k over sticker for". The floorspace that car ate up during the 2.5+ years it sat more than cost it what those idiots asked for it.

I would drive the wheels off of it. Also would love to have a 1986 saleen; one of my favorites.

dude, MSR fucken P on a Hellcat is 64-65K. I dont know who told you 55K but they are fucken retarded. I priced one last night at 64 and change. IF you got one with no options which there arent many of, its still 61-62K with gas guzzler tax of 1700 bucks.

The yellow label car for 53k seems like the deal here... Im seriously intrigued... who sells Saleens these days?

MSRP starts at $59,995, just go to the Dodge site to see that. Of course once you add on any sort of destination charge you'll be over $60K.

Hey, I can lease one for $550 a month! Anybody want to flog the shit out of one for two years? lol
