When I got mine done last year, the doctor asked who my insurance was with and then offered to knock my ass out. Next day, I went in, got put out and then was doped up for about 24 hours. It's not bad afterwards. Move slowly and keep things from hitting the boys and you're golden. My stitches took a couple weeks to dissolve and the pain was gone within about 3 days.
