  • Anybody believe in the Patton murder conspiracy?

I do not remember if I had heard about this conspiracy before...but I can see it happening. I certainly do not trust our government.

Sixty-seven years ago, on a cold December 9th in 1945 Germany, legendary American general George S. Patton was injured in a strange auto

You should read Killing Patton. It talks all about this. I'm not yet done with it, but it's been a good book so far.

Interesting stuff. I have read a great deal about WWII but not much about Patton, and don't think I even knew the circumstances of his death until this.

I believe he was murdered and it was definitely a conspiracy. As for who actually did the deed we'll never know.

Our intelligence officers were working very closely with the Russians and British at the end of WW2 and we had a lot of under the table deals with Stalin.

When Hitler, Stalin, Eisenhower and Churchill all want you to disappear there is a good chance one of them will get the job done.

Not to mention the German people and many of his own soldiers. He'd put former Nazi party members back in charge of different occupied towns. I mean he had good reasons to do so, they were the most qualified but they were still former Nazis.

General Patton is a true hero and one of the greatest Americans we'll ever have but he wasn't very good at understanding the bigger picture. He was right though, we had the chance to kill off communism once and for all and didn't take it. Unfortunately for him we had other plans worked out with Stalin.
