How could one plug an electric guitar system to a car audio?

Outputs on ipods and such are super high were output on guitar is very low which is why you'd need a preamp. The pod is a weak preamp. Car stereo speakers =/= guitar amps speakers. There is no medium to produce good sound from an instrument- it just is never going to sound good and if you don't believe me then let me know how it goes, or find someone that has done it successfully. You'd be better off buying a battery powered amp or a power inverter to run a small amp

                            compressor, pedal, effects, boutique, limiter, leveler, tube, valve, review, stompbox, bass, guitar, compression, recording, stage


                            basically you need about a +10dbu boost prior to going into the aux input and you're good. There are many devices that do do this.
