You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Someone could've had a WAY cooler vehicle for 162k. I just can't get over the fact that someone spent that kind of money on a jeep. That is ferrari money.

My guess is that if they have that much to spend on a Jeep, they already have a bunch of other "cooler" vehicles. I would hope so, anyways.

let me put it in perspective..

i'm the butt of many jokes because i have been working on a 63 c10 since ~2008. I have spent probably $10k over the years in parts. (some made it on the truck some didnt). Time -- out of the 7 years I would say i have maybe 6 months of solid work on the thing. (8 hour days 40 hours/week). I still dont plan to be done with this thing for another 2-3 years.

Now.. Imagine I could take it to a resto shop, I had the cash, and they said they could have it done in the 6 months that i've spent on it for $50 grand.

I'd jump all over it.. sure the truck wont be worth more than $15k, but i'd get to enjoy it RIGHT NOW, as opposed to ordering parts waiting for delivery, waiting for time to install the parts etc.

I get that it's just a jeep, but I also get that a lot of people just want what they want, and they're gonna get what they get. The dealership is just a service provider.

Whoever priced that shit is a crook! Soooo much wrong with that list. But if someone is dumb enough to pay those inflated prices, I guess you can't blame someone else from taking their money.
