Just don't mention street outlaws in your application.

Heck I'd worry more about your health insurance knowing about you applying for a competition license. The NHRA does seem to be a little draconian with their applications now though.

I have an nhra competition license? Nothing in your medical history should cause you not to obtain it unless you cannot pass a physical? Over I believe 50(I can't remember the age) you must get an EKG.

Basically, When I apply for life insurance, the fact that I got a physical specifically for a NHRA license is something that I'm questioned about.

And does this stay in your medical history for life ?

just tell them you live life a 1/4 mile at a time.

I was in my 20's when I got mine, don't recall it being difficult at all, and my general mindset was - fuck life insurance.

...but now-a-days when "fuck life insurance" is no longer the motto....no, it has never come up.

Having a Pilots license does the same thing. It excluded a lot of life insurance policies for me. Thankfully my union, APA provides this at a fraction of the cost. Also the company, AA provides this because of the difficulty of obtaining life insurance with traditional carriers.

Maybe some insurance agents can chime in.
