  • Anyone out and about?

How are the roads? The residential roads by north east mall are a solid sheet of ice.

Just wondering** if I'd be able to make it to Coppell in a 500hp 5.0.

It's all good in Waxahachie. That's further south.

I tried to go to brownwood made it 20 miles took 2 hours almost jacknifed a bunch of times. Fuck that wait till it warms up let all the super drivers find out the hard way. Protect your good record

Well, I work in the transportation industry, so I don't really have a choice. Freight doesn't stop for weather.

I'm not a driver, but we have some freight that needs to move off our dock for Monday AM delivery. Since I'm in charge I'd rather risk myself / car than have one of my guys do it. I don't feel I should force them into the office if I wont risk it.

I'm sure you need things to move but everyone's safety is more important. My .02

                            Amen to that.

Risk is the potential of losing something of value. Values (such as physical health, social status, emotional well being or financial wealth) can be gained or lost when taking risk resulting from a given action, activity and/or inaction, foreseen or unforeseen. Risk can also be defined as the intentional interaction with uncertainty. Risk perception is the subjective judgment people make about the severity and/or probability of a risk, and may vary person to person. Any human endeavor carries some risk, but some are much riskier than others

Same reason I don't get the option of taking a snow day.
Snow here doesn't impact my customers all over the country.
