Yes. Mine has been on for 6 years because I swapped wheels.

I renewed my registration in February. My inspection was out at the time and I haven't ever got around to getting it done. Am I good until February 2016 now?
I called the DPS on this and they said I was good until February, I told them that the inspection had been out for a while but I renewed the registration last month. Said I need a inspection before the registration expires Feb 2016.

If you go get your registration you have to show proof (that white imspection paper) before they will give you the sticker or you can go retrieve it from the internet.

Just transferred the title on my civic today in Collin county and they told me that they are keeping the state inspections in the database, I asked if I should keep the paper work and she highly suggested keeping the paper work showing passing the test this year.

The registration expired in march, inspection in April, she asked if the inspection was still valid and I said yes, she look at the computer and said ok here's your new sticker. I neglected to ask if I needed to remove the sticker next month, i suppose I will have to call them and ask but I assume even though my inspection expires next month I only need to have it done before the next registration event and not by the sticker date

On the flip side I had the camaro inspected the last weekend in February and they gave me a new inspection sticker.

From what I understand there will be some leeway in when tests are done, as long as they are done in the registration expiration year. So on my Honda even though it was inspected in may of 2014 and expires April 2015, the next time I need an inspection will be before my registration expires in February of next year, so 2 years no inspection

Same with the camaro, when I go in this September 2015 (when my registration expires) with my valid inspection sticker I would have 1 year from the registration date to have it inspected in order to renew my registration.

So my civic will go 2 years without inspection and the camaro basically a year and a half

I wonder if I can pull that scam with my car that hasn't been on the road/in the system since 09???? Are cops going to pull people over and shoot them if they don't see an inspection sticker this year?

Not sure, she was able to see my last inspection to see that my sticker was still valid

Anyone know where near Frisco/Little Elm does trailer inspections?

We've been racing since '92, looks like 2015 will be the first year we've ever inspected a trailer.

I would think cops would just as an excuse to pull people over and possibly generate revenue.
