Did all my tax stuff and was good with keeping my shop out of the IRS traps.

Her staff is good but you are getting into her busy time of year.

I'm looking to run an accounting program like Quickbooks on linux and want to know if anyone has done it with Wine or virtualization. If so, how does it compare to the Windows XP environment?

Are you still in California? If so, you should probably look for someone out there b/c I know that LLC and associated fees differ some from state to state. About a year ago my brother stood down his old company LLC in Texas for that reason....stood up under a new name in Massachusetts (iirc) in order to save quite a bit.

If you are looking for someone local to DFW our family has used this guy for many years - he's not just a CPA, also knows a lot about business law in-general....

I moved back to Dallas a week or so ago. I could hack it in Los Angeles, they my Company said I could move anywhere in the world except Hawaii, so I was like, uhh, I'll move home with the same pay The caveat was I had to form my own business as its contract work.

Also my family is here and I just had a beautiful daughter.

I've already formed the company, its called "The Gestalt Group, LLC" and I have a doing business as entity called "InitialC" ( Christopher Cruz Cranford, get it). Right now I need to see if I can setup my company as SCorp LLC, and where I should setup a bank account.

I'm just giving you shit dude, I wish I could do the same, but my career is firmly planted here in Sacramento. Even more so if my interview on Monday goes well.
