I would love a new stang but I'm steering more towards and nicely equipped four door pickup.

So yeah, getting older aint so bad. I do still want to get back into a sports car when funds allow for such a big "weekend only" expense, but I don't miss the kidney punch for daily duty.
One thing I've noticed about getting older is that I'm a lot less tolerant of Harley's with open exhaust. Loud cars I don't mind, but fuck those bikes get on my nerves, perhaps for the simple fact that it has nothing to do with performance, and is all about "look at me."

I think I'm going to revisit the 2009+ CTS-V idea I've been screwing with off and on for a while now. The wife said if I could take the Lincoln and get an Explorer with a 3rd row out of it, I could use her new Escape and the Tahoe to scratch that itch.

I've seen too many accidents in my time to change that. They never even got to ride in the Cobra, other than a couple of short neighborhood trips. They never got to get out on the main roadways Bacause the rear seats only had lap belts.
I know it's a dangerous world out there, but some risks are worth taking. After almost 20 years of driving that car, it hasn't killed me yet.
That said, I was never a cop and I didn't work car wrecks. I can see how that could change ones perspective.

More to the point though, is that it din't always get to me. I've daydreamed about owning such a bike in the past, no chance in hell I'd put my ears through that today.
