I would contact him directly though, I am also a member of several bmw forums and he had posted somewhere there for discount and I contacted him directly after letting him know what all I wanted and he billed me through paypal. He's in Canada I believe, but he doesn't handle any of the merchandise. He's just a distributor for several companies via his website.

Dude has like 5 chargepipes, Im gonna have to ask him which one is best. Sucks they moved the divertervalves from the N54, so I cant remove them and add a bad ass tial now. horray for boost bleed!

On a good note, they have the Cobb AP for 13% off, which saves 116 bucks. Thats the cheapest Ive seen it, its usually $895 everywhere. Wonder if their local shop will match the price?

Thanks for the contact info and site - been in touch with Mike and he was quick to respond - help and get me some parts at what I feel is a VERY competitive price.

Can't wait to get the BCAI and the Charge Pipe with the BOV installed!

didn't read the entire thread but Cobb does not have install/tuning services in Austin. They are in Plano though.

Ironically Turner is located here in Cali, but thanks to the ARB they can't sell to those that live here, looks like Dinan is the only legal option for me.

Here's to hoping that they come out with a stage 2.

I'm not sure why you would need an in-person tune for an access port. It's pretty plug-and-play as I understand it unless you've got some crazy mods.

U dont, but i read the ofs tunes (off the shelf), suck for thr most part... there's a place in ontario called protuningsolutions or something that offers a custom tune using the cobb... def the way i will go, lots of good reviews on bimmerpost about them. My thoughts were to have cobb do a custom tune but it doesnt seem like that is necessary with pts doing such a good job.

Also read about pure turbo in cali, they do a cnc ported stock turbo with an upgraded wheel that is showing about a 50-60 rwhp and 70-100 rwtq gain, with no other parts... its only a grand which is cheaper than some fmic's! Also is unidentifoable when car goes into the shop under warranty.

Hmmm... Maybe this warranty business isn't all it's cracked up to be...

my friend was running Cobb in his GTR and switched to ECUTEK he likes it allot more and says its easier to use and change tunes on the fly. He actually can send the guy his logs and he will send him updates at no charge. Boost from launch control and we installed an ethanol reader that allows it to auto adjust to max boost depending on what level of fuel car has in it at the time.

sorry guess I should have checker first they do not offer BMW

Same exact options with my jb4.

I've got 2 step, I can run methanol & e85, map 5 will automatically adjust the tune as needed based on any and every condition. It will even switch to Map 4 for logging if it reads any issues to avoid any damage. Additionally i can add a back end flash & Wedge tune, I can also change maps on the fly from my steering wheel buttons.

yeah I Know he likes it more with his COBB we would fill up and it would take 10-15 minutes to switch his tune and push this reset this turn this on for 5 seconds hold that down for 5 seconds... no more gas and go

Yep, the jb4 is sweet, but this is my wife's daily, and i dont need her fucken confused with this map or that. Goibg to do the cobb with the pro tune and ported turbo... should make around 380 to 400 wheel when its dialed in, thats more than enough to make it to work on time. No meth, no e85, no e mixtures, just 93 octane and call it a day.

I almost went with cobb myself. I figured I could try out the jb4 and if I didn't like it I could sell it and go with the Cobb. So far I like it, I've read online you can make more hp with the jb4... not sure what difference on both in regards to the n55 you have though. 380-400rwhp... that's pretty damn good. I think I'm lucky if I'm at 370 and I have jb4, chargepipe, dci, Tial BOV and soon will probably be going with downpipe and exhaust.

Here's a couple runs against my buddy in his 07-08 charger srt8. It appears I need to switch tires before any other upgrade. I spun through 1st & 2nd from a roll run. From a stop I took off at about 2k rpm, feathered the clutch but as soon as boost kicked in it spun a little. Also from the roll race, my CEL came on and I got a misfire code, the map changed on its own to Map 4 (which is just stock tune but you can datalog). Once you up the boost, you'll be replacing coils often and need colder plugs. It's misfiring cylinder 3, it went away after I parked the car for a little while but I'll be replacing the coils this week either way.as soon as I switch them out, I'll be trying the 2step and launching this mofo at 4k.

Oh and Matt, with the maps, unless she's going to be driving it hard you can leave it on map 0 (off) and when you're going to be driving it, switch it to whatever map you want to run haha... that's how I leave it at 0 map 0 incase my wife drives it. She's already confused why it makes a swoosh sound when she passes someone and presses the clutch since I installed the BOV lmao!!

                            Don't mind the guy recording.

Look up Pure turbo in california... their ported turbos and piping should get you around 450 rw... with your current mods. Pretty damn cool cars really. Not super fast like a cts v, but a lot more nimble and fun to drive. My 335 is 1000 lbs lighter than a v is.

I'm going to have to check them out, I hope my turbos can get replaced under warranty before I do that though lol...I already have a brand new engine with less than 5k miles. New turbos would be awesome!

Yeah they are fun cars for sure, if they made a single turbo for my 535i I think I would go that route. I'm stuck between getting a gt500 or CTS-V coupe right now...just having fun with the bimmer for now. Sucks that I went with a 6 speed, I've had dealers actually turn me away completely on a trade-in period because it's not an automatic. It was funny with one dealer that offered me a crappy trade it value before even asking if it was manual. Once I told him it was stick, he said it would be even less because people looking for luxury aren't looking for speed, then when he said he wanted more $ for the V because it was manual...go figure.
