The parking lot is always best. I thought about cruising the lot in the Cobra earlier. I'll just wait for Good Guys next month and hit up all the little local shows each weekend. Hell, I probably won't go to the show in Austin, but get a hotel and hang on Congress, the speed shop and where ever.
yea congress is cool, and the show is so expensive. Since I dont own a car I can take to shows anymore, I get less interested in car shows. I didnt want to go to autorama, but a couple of close friends were going so I went to hang out.

I was not impressed it much of anything there. Too much chrome never driven old man show cars and poorly modded late model cars for me to care about.

I don't understand why people enter a bone stock vehicle or even ones with terrible skull paint jobs all over the engine bay and other crappy mods. Your car is not original or interesting you are taking up space. I don't care that your 2008 Dodge pickup is one of 150 with that color combo leave.

Did like the 55? Chevy Bonneville race car, and some of the other race cars. Was a cool Cabover truck in the small room. When I go to a show I want to see a cool hand built cars, something different/innovative or rare. Guess this is why I have never been much for "car shows". You tend to find more interesting stuff showing up to racing events or car meets.

I will check autorama off my list for the next 5 years or so, luckily I got free tickets so it was a excuse to head down town and get mexican food from Ojedas.
