Are you just trying to prevent someone from looking in? The sun screens also do an effective job of that and cut down the heat significantly- my house faces west

I believe that putting window film on double pane glass will cause it to condensate or break because of the heat generated by the reflective film reflecting the UV light. This is why you use 80% or 90% sun screens. I could be wrong, but this is what I read when I was thinking about doing the same thing in my house.

I've got a fully monitored/sensored system with cameras and etc, just looking for anything else I can do. I've looked at some interior bars but the window I need is 60" and I can't find anything that large.

Its like automotive tint, except a little thicker and stickier (to hold the shattered glass in place)

any place that installs solar film for commercial windows should be able to install it.
