I still don't see how the teller only spoke Spanish. Our tellers are required to interact with clients, letting them know of whatever special promotion we have going on. In fact, they get mystery shopped on it for quality control. This requires English, and the teller would not have been hired without being fluent in both languages.

Perhaps she was just going to get the manager? You said she was the only teller working, so she had to interact with English speaking clients without incident before you got to her.

No need to get your panties in a wad. This is minor compared to the normal issues I have with Chase. Like putting a hold on CASH deposits, not having enough cash on hand for my withdrawals, and overall bad customer service. But I generally don't bank with them in person. All my transactions are usually online or through an ATM.

I use BofA for my car fund and 'walkin around' money.

Very surprised honestly. I work for Chase in a branch, and usually the only complaints we get is that there are not enough people who speakie da Spanish, not the other way around...

Hard to do that when they have my money. I've actually threatened to close my accounts and they were unable to give me cash without opening the safe.

Is this the one with the bullet resistant glass in front of the tellers? I went into one of them on 360 once to make a deposit and didn't feel very safe. The funny thing is that yeah the glass may be bullet proof but the drop down ceiling isn't, anyone could climb on the counter and shoot through the ceiling if they wanted to go crazy.
