Funny thing is that all through having braces and dental work growing up, it wasnt an issue. Then my dentist found some extra glue that got missed by my ortho. In the process of getting it off, with a drill, he slipped and drilled straight into my gum. Worst pain ive ever experienced, and also the last time ive ever been to a dentist.

I got one of mine infected when it was coming in. Went to the dentist to get it pulled, conversation went like this.

Me: This pain is killing me, you have to get this tooth out.

Doc: No problem, lets just get an x-ray.... Son, you have abnormally long roots, you see right here, they are actually into your sinus cavity. Now, we can pull them, but there is risk of damaging the sinus to the point of needing reconstructive surgery and a risk of permanent nerve damage.

Me: The pain isn't that bad, I think I'll pass.


Sucks because I broke an upper tooth and had to get it pulled. I could actually pull air through that tooth hole and out my nose. Ever since then, equalizing my sinuses while scuba diving has been a bitch.

Ha!!! I had two done in boot camp, but I didn't think it was that bad. I had the other two done in the fleet and I ate at Outback for dinner no big deal.
