There will be a water war at some point.

My grass when seeded and fed every 3 months required no more than 1 watering every two weeks. The only one with greener grass in my area was a police officer who literally watered daily at 9pm and has monthly service by Scott's

The subdivision I live in waters 3 times a week, and the grass is never green. People just expect to add water on fresh sod in what use to be a field and get green grass

You would be surprised how well that grass feed works.

Been wondering how boat owners justify the payments now days with limited lake access?

Who the hell knows... The boat I sold and the one I'm rebuilding are cash only. I will never have a boat payment. I have a buddy that bought a USED X-Star last year for 70 something and used it twice.

We wandered around the boat show last night and giggled at the signs that said things like "only 648 a month" ... which was probably for a 10 year loan.

Joe Pool doesn't get very low, ever. Good luck getting a slip, though. Lots of folks on a waiting list to move their boats there from other lakes.

Texoma isn't that low right now.

Whitney is low, but has been quite a bit lower in recent years.

I have driven over it twice a day now for years and you are right it never seems to move much. You know it has to be bad news if there is a line of people waiting to get in on that shit hole of a lake.

Joe Pool is not a bad lake. The level stays consistent. The fishing is decent. The Oasis is a pretty cool place. There are plenty of titties out on those bro boats, if that's your thing. The East side is bordered by Cedar Hill State Park, which is really nice and quiet. I've seen all kinds of wildlife out there. Maybe you have just been to the wrong part of the lake. If you go to Lynn Creek Park on a summer weekend, it's like Trader's Village. Loyd Park has its share of rednecks at times. But there's a lot more to that lake than those spots.

I'm betting on TX offering $$$ for people to "zero scape" their yards. They have been doing this in CA for years. Austin has a big push for zero scape and I think it looks a hell of a lot better than most people's lawns with less maintenance to boot.

I'm not a huge fisherman so I don't care about that. I guess I am spoiled to PK and Travis.

Been to those lately? PK is 15' low, and is still healing from wildfires and gold algae.

Travis is >50' low and has been for years.

Besides, neither one of those are really in this area.

I know, it's been a couple years since I have been to either but I would like to remember them as they were!

If it was something substantial, I would totally go that way. I don't have an HOA (which is rare in Keller) so I could do as I please. Plus I love the clean look of it.

So plenty of titties is not your thing?
