My grass when seeded and fed every 3 months required no more than 1 watering every two weeks. The only one with greener grass in my area was a police officer who literally watered daily at 9pm and has monthly service by Scott's
The subdivision I live in waters 3 times a week, and the grass is never green. People just expect to add water on fresh sod in what use to be a field and get green grass
You would be surprised how well that grass feed works.

We wandered around the boat show last night and giggled at the signs that said things like "only 648 a month" ... which was probably for a 10 year loan.

Texoma isn't that low right now.
Whitney is low, but has been quite a bit lower in recent years.

I've seen all kinds of wildlife out there. Maybe you have just been to the wrong part of the lake. If you go to Lynn Creek Park on a summer weekend, it's like Trader's Village. Loyd Park has its share of rednecks at times. But there's a lot more to that lake than those spots.

Travis is >50' low and has been for years.
Besides, neither one of those are really in this area.
