When I lived in McKinney a few years ago they had overbuilt the area and were sucking Lake Lavon dry. The days we could water the yard were getting fewer and fewer, and the water cops were out writing tickets to people that were watering on the wrong day. I presume all of that has continued, and with Toyota showing up now has probably gotten worse.
Whoever is responsible for planning water resources for that area was asleep at the switch - I saw this coming years ago. I'm glad that I'm not there now trying to keep a yard of tiff bermuda alive with no water and 100 degree temps.
