Correct, Koenigsegg (and maybe some others) have been doing them for a few years.

Well originally I typed that a $25k Z06 with $5k in mods would run circles around it. It has been 22 years since the last LX coupe rolled off the line.

A 2012 Z06 with good tires was 10 seconds faster but it's about the same price still.

This time was basically made up by Horsepower Kings. They were the same people who said the Z06 ran a sub seven second lap which Chevy also said wasn't true.
