  • Help me, DFDubs. Team Outings in N Dallas/Plano?

We've got about 20 people flying into Plano from all over the US and Canada the last week of February, and I've been asked to plan some sort of fun event for us to do as a team building thing.

I'm looking for suggestions of places that would be good for this. So far I've thought of Top Golf, bowling, Speed Zone or Dave & Busters. Any other good ideas? Places that serve alcohol is a big plus

I already asked HR, hookers and blow is out of the question.

The indoor skydiving place would be fun for that kind of thing. Dallas Karting Complex, too.

We've done Top Golf, indoor carting up in Frisco, and the most popular one was an evening at Speed Zone, followed with everyone heading to Zero Gravity after getting liquored up on the race track. That wasn't a cheap night I would imagine.

Baby Dolls is a top rated strip club in Dallas. From barely-there outfits to All-American music format, Baby Dolls babes know how to put on a show.

K 1 karting in arlington is pretty fun. They make a big deal out of it for events. Give out trophies to 1-3 places.

It took me 5 years to get my office to commit to this when we had a department meeting where our field reps flew in. Now, it's all anyone talks about whenever we start planning another meeting. You can even bring your booze with you I think. We had dinner and drinks first and then went and played for an hour. We can't wait to do it again.

Whirlyball without a doubt. I used to rent out the one in Dallas for a bunch of co workers. Would would all pitch in and have a BLAST. The managers heard about it so they would do it periodically for the team leaders and management. That one used to sell booze and the guys would get hammered and have a blast. It was a sad day when they tore that place down.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. I've never heard of Whirlyball, it doesn't look all that fun on their site, but it sounds like everyone here digs it.
