      I'm ok with this!
It's not a day for him, but a day to honor all military heroes.
I think he would be ok with it because it brings awareness, honor and remembrance of our military personnel.
"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776

If Chris Kyle sees his shadow we will have 6 more weeks of war.
I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

I'm not on board with this at all, there are plenty of veteran's more deserving that don't have their day, that were more appropriately KIA.

I think it's a flamboyant attempt to appeal to the masses as the new gub'nah... I don't like it.

This is what I was trying to say without getting my ass jumped, but I totally agree. What has he done to deserve his very own day, other than meet an early end and get famous?

Yeah but how many of them have a movie, bro?! Abbott says "we honor our military heros" so he dedicates a day to honor just one. He's probably filling pumped up after watching the movie. Kinda how I always wanted to fight someone after watching a ninja turtles film.
                        .....bro....

As much as I want to be okay with this, I'm not.
