    Plane has to have air flowing over the wings to create lift. The plane would not be moving on the treadmill, just the wheels turning. I say no. Is this some sort of trick insider topic us newbies would not know about?

              That's only possible if the plane is propelled by the wheels, unfortunately planes are propelled by thrust
