Court documents are revealing new details about former NBA player Greg Anthony's arrest Jan. 16 in Washington for soliciting a prostitute.

WASHINGTON -- Court documents are revealing new details about former NBA player Greg Anthony's arrest Jan. 16 in Washington for soliciting a prostitute.

Court documents revealed new details about ex-NBA player Greg Anthony's arrest for soliciting a prostitute.
Court documents describe the conversation Anthony had with an undercover officer before his arrest at a Washington hotel. The documents show the undercover officer told Anthony that intercourse would cost $80. Asked if he wanted her to "dress up," he responded "oh yeah," the court documents say.

The documents also explain more about how Anthony wound up in room 805 of the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel. Anthony responded to an ad authorities placed in the escort section of the classifieds website Backpage.com, a court document says.

Anthony was suspended by CBS and Turner Sports following his arrest. His next court appearance is Feb. 2.

Times are rough. 90's basketball players didn't bank like todays basketball players. I am sure he had to settle on just a couple mill a year.

For the life of me, I cant figure out why prostitution is illegal.

That's the stupidest fucking excuse Ive ever heard. Where it is legal, the girls get checked frequently, since it's regulated.

You'd have a better chance of getting something from a random bar whore than a (regulated) prostitute.

You know, me either. I actually think it would be safer for all parties involved if they legalized it, and made them test for STD's every so often. Old, rich, uber religious people, are the reason, it is illegal. Plus do you really think women that are not in the business want an avenue for unlimited, no strings sex, and no repercussions?

The girls are checked, but are the customers checked? Whats the time period between tests and results? Can you guarantee that no sexual intercourse with anyone took place during the time period waiting for tests? Who are the women banging outside of their job, and are they using protection? What's the gap between testing periods?

Too much shit going around today to take that kind of risk anymore.

So don't hire a prostitute if there's too much risk for you. That doesn't mean it should be illegal.

And yet picking your goddamned nose is still perfectly legal. Still want to go down that path?

I see the definition of 'entrapment' has apparently swung law enforcement's way...

First off, let's get something straight, you NEVER pay a prostitute for sex (or a sexual act) you pay her to fucking leave when it's over. You are absolutely right about the old/uber-rich/religious bigots, but I'd say you're a little wrong (or maybe totally right depending on how you meant that) on the woman point of view.

It's not that they don't want guys to have that option, it's that they don't want competition. All of them are whores, period... Even married men pay for sex with their wives, one way or another all straight men pay for it. Period...
