What a piece of shit truck. I'd never own another Ford ever again. But that's just me.

On the other topic, Pat Lobb Toyota in Mckinney earned my business. Service is outstanding.

I think all dealerships are full of shit! after they sell you a car. Seems like they don't want to have anything to do with you unless it's another sale.

Park Cities Ford was not bad the few times I have been there. Grapevine Ford, has some work to do and it won't be easy.

bottom line is the new grapevine ford folks told us all they were going to filll in the spot left by Skip, and they have failed miserably. their great deals consist of the exact same price as you see on the internet, and I think the only reason they worked to grease Reemos wheels was because they thought he might have had legal recourse. just my thoguhts, take it for what you will.

              god bless.

It does, sounds more like it blew the ring lands off and the tech didn't actually tear it down. With a suspect engine failure they are supposed to download the PCM data and have it decrpyted to look for any kind of aftermarket tampering.

If the Eco is going to be the next 6.0 Ford needs to own up to it. Until they build a new platform that they actually stick with for a while I am out on the new turbo shit.
We actually have 6 ecoboost's in this family. I'm currently in a 2010 Taurus SHO. 2 ecoboost f150's, SHO, Fusion, 2 Lincolns.

Just because one year I have one vehicle, and the next year another, does not mean that there is all this magic money and we are just balling. The truck I was referring to is a true blue mettalic 2011, the one I own in my name is a 2013 thats my avatar. Also, one day you can be on top, the next day you can be eating peas for dinner. Everything happens in seasons. I don't need to have my personal life questioned. I ask questions for family members all of the time. Anything I post has to do with something mechanical, political or about detailing.

I think we all just need to admit that Ford dealerships' service sucks. My friend took his ecoboost to 3 different dealerships, none of those idiots could figure out it was a dead/dying coil pack that was causing his engine miss. A coil pack. We're not even trained techs and its something we discussed. I like ford vehicles for the most part but fuck any ford dealership that ever existed. And fuck ford for not forcing them to do better

It's not just Ford. Most all dealership service sucks. When I was a dealer tech there were only maybe 3 people in our service dept that were worth a darn.

Toyota beats the shit out of ford (and probably GM and Chrysler im sure). They flew in 3 toyota engineers to find an issue on my dads Tundra. They got it fixed.

That's pretty been much my experience as well. One car I fondly remember was a Cosworth Vega we had for 3+ months with a drivability problem none of our guys could figure out. It had fuel injection but you couldn't use a tech1 on it so they were lost.
