I really wish I could find out where Sam went at southwest ford back in 2006 when I bought my truck. Was the absolute easiest dealership experience I've ever had. I came up there looked at the truck he told me to take it home and get the papperwork I needed. When I came back I spent about 5 minutes in the finance office and I was on the road.

Every now and again you will get that one guy that wants to sell you everything you never needed for your car but it is rare with them. This is also a huge reason I will never buy another Chevrolet again. Fix your shit and don't lie about it! Also don't treat a woman any differently than you would a man. That pisses me off like no other. I think they actually take time to read the surveys they get also. I get one all the time and they know I will usually sit down and write a detailed response. I buy the oil change/extended warranty every time we buy her a car. Not only does it help the resale but I don't have to do anything to her car but keep good tires on it. Hell she had a tire get lopsided on her once on the way to work, drove it by there and they took her to work and picked her up. Now that's service.

I don't know why more dealers haven't figured out that business is lost and gained in their service department than any other department in the dealership. Seems pretty simple to me.

You would think that they would, since ~80% of their profits are make through fixed operations. They have to sell enough cars to keep the franchise, so the focus is generally there, and they let service and parts fend for themselves.

Judging by the quality of his posts, he'll just say "Ford engineering."

According to the dealer, there was a failure in the PCV valve. Oil was "atomized" into the air intake. Since the oil was going there instead of staying in the long block, the oil ran low. There was not a check oil level light that would come on, and I don't check then oil weekly. Approximately 2000 miles after thenlast oil change is when this occurred. The intercooler and some of the turbo piping was coated with oil.

Ecoboost guys and gals- What mods are yall running and plan on running? Already have the heart throb exhaust and SCT tuner, which have helped a ton. Not really interested in the airaid, or any manufacture for the matter, cold air intake since most graphs I've seen show a HP loss. I have a set of custom rear control arms being

Maybe they have more than one. Also I hate to be a bitch about this but a fucking new car should be able to handle a tune, exhaust, and intake. Just like the new Corvettes blowing up, you got people blaming the drivers or magazines. People have been beating on new corvettes for years with out incident. If the Eco is going to be the next 6.0 Ford needs to own up to it. Until they build a new platform that they actually stick with for a while I am out on the new turbo shit.

I take my truck to the dealer for oil changes because it's free for the first 2yrs/24K. Since it's a GMC I just go ahead and drop it off and get a loaner since there's 85 recalls to be done at every oil change.

Paris Ford has been good to me. I had them install auto start in my Edge and they ordered the upgraded part by accident and I got a discount on the original price with the upgraded system.
