They wanted to raise $10,000 in 30 days, within a few hours they have over $525,000. Guess I need to come up with an idea where people give me money.

Yup, you could tell right away by the illustrations. I can almost guaranty that the idea came from his childhood. They had a bunch of cats and their house caught on fire killing all of them (had around 20 cats) except for one.

He also did some comic drawings about the NFL mascots after the games that got thousands of retweets. It could be all about timing with more people following him because of that plus his general followers.

Seriously, I can't imagine that many people willing to spend an average of $38 for a game that doesn't exist yet, and the fact that it has happen so freaking fast. $1.1 million raise and they just started today. It blows my mind.
