    I'll order a tuner(+get a tune) and a downpipe tomorrow.

I'll level it out when these tires get worn & install BFG AT's.

I'd like to dyno it before & after, depending on where the rollers are in this city and what the cost is.

Since I traded in the Lexus, which had the honor of parking in the garage, the Bronco has moved up to that position (finally).

I had to use the company truck today (09 f-250 with 5.4), and holy fuck that 5.4 is a turd. I forgot just how much of a turd the 4.6/5.4s were.

I won't go back to a Coyote after having an ecoboost. I am getting 18 and I drive it like a rental lol.

Even though I never race or tow or anything other than normal daily drive my vehicles 99% of the time, I just do not like quiet cars/trucks and have to have a V8 with exhaust. Stupid reason, but I really like a nice loud exhaust on a vehicle. I have not heard a good (too me) V6 exhaust ever, and the video of the ecoboost Stangs with exhaust is atrocious!

Nothing beats a good ole American V8 with exhaust!

I love the V8 sound also but with I drive about 3,000 miles a month and have grown to enjoy the quiet. I did pull the blowoff baffle out so I do get the fun of hearing that lol.

These trucks are so easy to work on and respond so well to mods. I love a V8 just as much as anyone but my ecoboost will smoke any v8 truck. I have made quick work of plenty of V8 "sports" cars. Anything other than terminators and 11-up 5.0's are easy pickings. I don't even waste my time with R/T's anything. I had my ass handed to my by an SRT-8 though.

What all is done to it, and what were the best mods?

Easy was when you needed a screw driver (adjust carb), timing light and 3/4 race cam!

yea, then that'd get you almost to the 75% mark of the power current vehicles are making in stock trim!

Technology has advanced, and the gains show it.

Intake, exhaust, tune and downpipe. I'm saving up for a new CAC.
Best bang for your buck is a custom tune. If I had it to do over again I'd get the downpipe, tune and CAC. The stock intake and exhaust flow plenty well for these trucks. The limit right now is the injector driver. There are some in development but they haven't hit the market yet. I'm wanting to run a lightning to see how it compares. My truck is basically stock and surprises a lot of people.

Thanks for the info - I was thinking about starting out with just a tune. I just turned 25K and kind of promised myself I wouldn't do anything to it until it had 25-30K. I'd like to see if it will improve the fuel mileage some.

Can I ask what tune you went with? It seems there is a lot of hype on the tunes from Southern Speed. I do like that their tunes are more customized than others I've seen. Wondering if theirs is worth the extra $$.

I did the stage III with cats on my 12 FX4...very different truck. Beat my wife's stock 12 Camaro SS from a 30 roll to 100 and I have 20s and 35s. I'm guessing low to mid 13s ET with the lift and wheels/tires.

Damn Dave, that's pretty impressive. Do you use the same tune all the time, or do you switch it up some? I need to be able to switch mine up for towing...it's seasonal for me, but in the warmer months I have the trailer hooked on probably 2-3 times a month.
