Bermuda. There are a few beaches (most are private tho) but plenty of scuba diving and deep sea fishing. Plus the food is amazing.

      Durango. Thanks!
I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

Sex with an Asian woman is great, but 30 minutes later you're horny again.

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Damn right it is. Almost my number one, but Vancouver beats it for the awesome food and things to do other than just being one with nature. I need to get back to Yosemite soon, I miss it.

There's trips and there's vacations. Vacations are all about unwinding and relaxing. Trips are for excursions, lookie-loo sightseeing shit and touristy stuff. My wife likes to disguise trips as vacations. I like going to a gorgeous beach, forgetting about work/chores/BS, smoking cigars and getting shithouse drunk for 5 straight days. That's a goddamned vacation.

                Yup... A motherfuckin' coconut. Shit.

Unfortunately, getting shithouse drunk isnt a vacation for me anymore, its a chore.

We went to Alexandria Bay last year and it was pretty nice. Cooperstown and Niagara Falls are nearby if you need touristy stuff but you can rent your own island if you have enough wallet.

It's in the thousand islands region where the St. Lawrence river turns into Lake Ontario. There are more like 1600 islands and the border is kind of mixed between them. So you can sit on your dock and literally throw rocks at Canada.

Don't go in the winter though!

                        Since you ride...

                        Awesome experience.

Hawaii is nice in the spring. We have been to Maui, Oahu, Kauai and the big island. We had fun on each. If you want night life as well as day time adventure, then go to Oahu. We stayed at Halekulani in Honolulu. Very nice. Visit Pearl Harbor Memorial while there. Other things you should check out on this island are...go to the North Shore and check out Sunset and Ehukai (Banzai Pipeline) beaches. Some of the biggest waves I have ever seen...and watching the people surf those waves is awesome (bigger in Dec-Feb). While on the north side, go snorkeling at Turtle Beach...crystal clear water and you will see turtles that time of year. Definitely spend a day on Waikiki Beach...very nice with some nice views...if you understand what I am saying! After a day on the beach, head to Addiction Nightclub for some drinks and dancing and good music.
My next favorite island is Maui. We stayed at the Four Seasons...amazing but not cheap. There are several beaches and hikes to visit on this island. Be sure to rent a convertible sports car so you can haul ass up the Road to Hana...a shit ton of fun. Google it.
Kauai is the most beautiful of the islands. It is the most lush and tropical. If you like to hike then visit this island...I recommend the hike to the Hanakapia Falls starting at the Kalalau trailhead. This is a very strenuous hike...if you arent in shape, then you probably shouldnt attempt it. Another must see is the Napali Coastline via sunset cruise...reminded me of the beginning of Jurassic Park (where the movie was filmed) sans dinosaurs..of course. We stayed at the Grand Hyatt...
If you like to fish or for more hiking, then visit the big island. We stayed at the Hilton Waikoloa Village. Make sure you rent a jeep and explore island...lots of stuff to see.

I must have walked in your foot steps a few times, done most of the same things in Hawaii!

That sounds pretty awesome. I don't typically like beaches because I get bored too quick. But if there's that much to do...it sounds more my speed.

Are the off road tours any good or do they limit you quite a bit?

The only offroad tour I did was on Maui...and they didnt limit you much at all if your skill level was adequate. It was a blast...I did the 4hr moto ride here...

I have a gopro video of the ride somewhere...thanks for reminding me. I want to go back and watch it...if I can find it.
